want you to show it to us.

Join the OnePeople project as we celebrate Jamaica’s 50th year of
independence in 2012 by creating a user-generated documentary filmed and
scored by you.

Tell us and show us what Jamaica means to you and what it means to be
Jamaican, whether by birth or adaptation.

So many people have been touched by Jamaica and her unique ability to
influence the way you view and navigate the world. We want to hear from
everyone… Jamaicans at home and abroad, 3rd generation immigrants who
have only heard grandma’s stories and eaten her rice and peas, the visitor
who came for a week and never left. We want to hear from those who went
home grudgingly with a sunburn (only to return time and time again for the
same treatment), as well as the Jamaican who left to seek opportunity
elsewhere and has never returned.
